Do you know where you’re going to be at 23:59 on 19 September? I do!<\/p>\n

BT Games<\/a> has announced they’ll be hosting Gears of War 3 midnight launch events at shops all over the country, which is probably a good idea because those Locust could turn up anywhere and we should always be prepared.<\/p>\n

Well, that’s how I explained my way out of that little national security incident at Cape Town International a while back. I mean, carrying bolo grenades in my pockets is just being responsible, right? Exactly.<\/p>\n

According to BT Games, the following shops will be getting in on this big idea:<\/p>\n

    Vincent Park
    Walmer Park<\/p>\n

Those venues marked with asterisks will be “hosted by Microsoft themselves, and will have a little more to them”, according to BT Games.<\/p>\n

Savage Grenadier Elite<\/span><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

There’s also a cool preorder incentive<\/a> in the intimidating shapes of Savage Kantus Shaman and Savage Grenadier Elite DLC models for multiplayer.<\/p>\n

I chose the Kantus, of course, because I just can’t get enough of that growly sound he makes when he runs.<\/p>\n
