Sony’s president of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, has confirmed that the device is region-free, so there’s no arbitrary bureaucratic barrier between you and augmented reality.<\/p>\n
The handheld is expected to launch on 17 December 2011 over in Japan, but doesn’t yet have an official launch date for everywhere else, so you could save yourself a lot of time, by spending a lot more money.<\/p>\n
It’s also good news for gamers because it means you’ll be able to import games from any region, which just makes sense in today’s global market, doesn’t it?<\/p>\n
