{"id":14188,"date":"2011-09-22T12:33:00","date_gmt":"2011-09-22T10:33:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"minecraft-1-9-to-add-ridiculously-suicidal-snow-golems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/14188-minecraft-1-9-to-add-ridiculously-suicidal-snow-golems","title":{"rendered":"Minecraft 1.9 to add \u201cridiculously suicidal\u201d Snow Golems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hot on the muddy, battered, and probably slightly burned heels of the recent Adventure Update, Mojang&rsquo;s Markus &ldquo;Notch&rdquo; Persson has dropped some details about the next version update, which apparently features a new mob of &ldquo;ridiculously suicidal&rdquo; Snow Golems.<\/p>\n<p>Being made of, well, snow, the craftable Snow Golems will leave a trail of snowy stuff in their wake, and melt in hot biomes.<\/p>\n<p>They&rsquo;ll also lob snowballs at your enemies, so they&rsquo;re good to have around.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The snowmen are ridiculously suicidal,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/notch\/status\/116503889959849985\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"@Notch\">Notch over Twitter<\/a>, &#8220;throwing snowballs at creepers and spiders, annoying them to attack the snowmen. It&#8217;s funny.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>No word on when the update will be out, but <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/notch\/status\/116524276739358720\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"@Notch\">Notch says<\/a> that he&rsquo;s &ldquo;fixed a few annoying lighting bugs, like fences under walls and such.
