{"id":14280,"date":"2011-09-26T18:12:00","date_gmt":"2011-09-26T16:12:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"megarom-re-launches-its-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/14280-megarom-re-launches-its-website","title":{"rendered":"Megarom re-launches its website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Megarom Interactive, South African importer and distributor of interactive video games, today (26 September 2011) announced that they have re-launched their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.megarom.co.za\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Megarom\">website<\/a>, &ldquo;with a more focused approach that aims to benefit all types of users.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&#8217;s been 5 years since the last update and the overhaul comes as a move to keep up-to-date with today&rsquo;s online trends,&rdquo; said Megarom.<\/p>\n<p>The new site will place focus on upcoming AAA gaming titles and features integration with social media platforms such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/megaromgames\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Megarom Facebook\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/megaromgames\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Megarom twitter\">twitter<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/MegaromGames\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Megarom YouTube\">YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new Megarom website was built as a more informative base for consumers, retailers and press. Different access level&#8217;s will give certain users access to assets which include press packs and contain information such as factsheets, packshots and screenshots, while dealers will gain access to pricelists and release schedules.<\/p>\n<p>The new website also includes a new web-based FTP service that will make it easier for retailers and press to gain assets for use in publications and catalogues. &ldquo;Using www.mediafire.com we hope to make this process much more streamlined.
