Czech Eurogamer<\/a> has spotted an announcement<\/a> over on the Ubisoft Czech facebook page confirming that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations has been pushed back from mid November to 2 December 2011.<\/p>\n

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will still meet their 15 November release date.<\/p>\n

The announcement serves as confirmation of a rumour which began circulating in July that the PC version would be pushed back.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time that Ubisoft has delayed the PC version of one of its multi-platform releases, with From Dust and Driver: San Francisco both being released on PC after their console versions. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for PC was also released a few months after the console versions.<\/p>\n

Revelations will be the last game in the series to feature Ezio Auditore Da Firenze and Altaïr Ibn La’Ahad, and it will also be the last to be set in the renaissance era, taking place in 1511 AD in Ottoman Constantinople. The area will be split into four districts: Constantin, Beyazid, Imperial, and Galata.<\/p>\n

Of course, the game will also continue modern day Desmond’ Miles’ story, following on from the events in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood where he was trapped in the Animus.<\/p>\n

Ezio will meet historical characters such as Manuel Palaiologos, an heir to the Byzantine Empire, Prince Suleiman and Prince Ahmet.<\/p>\n

In terms of gameplay, players can expect more of the action orientated open-world gameplay.<\/p>\n

New features such as the Hookblade, which allows players to zip-line across the city, are being introduced. The Hookblade is said to reduce navigation time by about 30 percent.<\/p>\n

Ezio will also have about 300 different craftable bomb combinations to play with.<\/p>\n
