Steam users are now able to get their hands on RAGE the second it goes live<\/a> by purchasing and pre-loading the game on their systems.<\/p>\n

Steam are also joining retailers in sweetening the pre-order deal by upgrading early purchasers to the Anarchy Edition.<\/p>\n

The Anarchy Edition gives you four exclusive in-game items (some less awesome than others, admittedly) for use as you blast your way through the post-apocalyptic landscape:<\/p>\n

The Double-Barrel Shotgun, Fists of RAGE, Rat Rod Buggy and Crimson Elite Armor.<\/p>\n

With a relatively steep price of $59.99 (about R480), compared to local online and retail pre-orders priced around R350 for the same deal, it’s not exactly the cheapest way to get sucked into the behemoth title.<\/p>\n

I guess that’s the price you pay for having the game loaded on your system early and not having to drag your butt off to the store, eh?<\/p>\n

RAGE is launching on the 7th of October (that’s this friday, if you haven’t been paying attention) and is available for pre-order online via Steam<\/a>.<\/p>\n
