With Gears of War 3 selling more than 3 million copies<\/a> in its first week alone, we all knew that DLC was not far off, and indeed, it’s not.<\/p>\n

On 1 November you’ll be able to get your bloody hands on the Horde Command Pack for 800 Microsoft points on Xbox Live.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It’s definitely a booster pack aimed at gamers who want to milk the multiplayer modes for all they’re worth – not adding to the single player campaign at all.<\/p>\n

The pack adds 3 new maps to multiplayer – Blood Drive, Rustlung and Azura – and adds new fortification upgrades for you to use in the game’s Horde 2.0. Other add-ons include 3 more characters and 2 new weapon skins.<\/p>\n

This pack is the first of at least four DLC packs to be released by Epic (as is indicated by the Gears of War 3 seasons pass which gives gamers a discount on the first four DLC packs), so there’s still more Gears to look forward to in the months ahead.<\/p>\n

The Horde Command Pack DLC will be available November 1st for 800 Microsoft points.<\/p>\n
