id Software has told PC gamers to download the latest AMD drivers right now, and it’s best to do as id Software says. Why are you still reading this?<\/p>\n
“If you have an AMD\/ATI graphics card, the new RAGE Catalyst drivers are out! BE SURE to grab them immediately,” shouts the official RAGE Twitter feed<\/a>.<\/p>\n According to AMD’s download page<\/a>, the new drivers include the latest OpenGL bits and pieces for special “Rage performance optimisations”, feature significant performance boosts for single GPU configurations, and are compatible with the AMD Radeon 6000 and AMD Radeon 5000 series of video cards.<\/p>\n Nvidia has also recently released new drivers<\/a> for the game.<\/p>\n In a follow-up tweet that I just made up, id Software adds that, “If you have a PS3 or Xbox 360, simply put the disc in the tray and start the game.”<\/p>\n RAGE hit the dirt in America yesterday, and is due out here on Friday.
