{"id":14534,"date":"2011-10-07T13:13:00","date_gmt":"2011-10-07T11:13:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"there-is-no-halo-movie-microsoft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/14534-there-is-no-halo-movie-microsoft","title":{"rendered":"There is no Halo movie &#8211; Microsoft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday it emerged that there may be plans for a <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/14504-Rumour-control-Halo-movie-out-2012-Spielberg-directing.html\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Halo movie coming in 2012\">Spielberg-helmed Halo movie<\/a> to be heading into our lives in the not-too-distant future.<\/p>\n<p>The info was apparently translated from a French press kit, and subsequently made it&#8217;s way onto internet, as these things invariably do.<\/p>\n<p>Predictably though, Microsoft have now issued a statement saying that this is not the case &ndash; there is no movie in the works &#8211; proving once again that the rest of the internet just does not get the French.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The information in the press release in question is inaccurate,&#8221; said Microsoft in a statement sent to Eurogamer. &#8220;We have no plans for a Halo feature film right now.
