“That’s right – Mass Effect 3 is getting multiplayer!” writes Daniel Hindes on the mag’s website. “We travel to BioWare’s office in Edmonton for hands-on time with the series’ first foray into online gameplay, and chat with Mass Effect Series Producer and Mass Effect 3 Project Director Casey Hudson about the decision to go multiplayer in the epic battle for the galaxy.”<\/p>\n
Quite what sort of multiplayer it is going to be remains unknown for the moment, although rumour has it that it’s some kind of standalone mode, and not a co-op campaign experience.<\/p>\n
Which does seem like a bit of a missed opportunity to have your friends play as Ewoks, but whatever.<\/p>\n
