In the quote, Dini noted that Batman was a very “real-world-centric” character, and that it would be more fun to do a character like Superman – who has a different power-scheme for fighting villains (powers not gadgets).<\/p>\n
“I would probably want to amp it up a bit, as far as the power level goes, and do more of a superhero with more super powers.”<\/p>\n

While he mentioned a number of characters like the Green Lantern and Captain Marvel, Superman would be the most obvious choice as he believes that “there’s a lot of reinvention being done on Superman at the moment – both in the comics and in the movies.”<\/p>\n
I think a grittier Clark Kent who’s not so clean-cut and has a darker context to him would be a great. How would Superman metabolize drugs and alcohol?<\/p>\n
