The Battlefield 3 beta is over, but the scars remain.<\/p>\n

Especially for those who, for one reason or another, were denied their early access or had difficulty downloading it.<\/p>\n

I know I still wake up in a cold sweat, troubled by nightmarish phantasms of an empty e-mail inbox.<\/p>\n

Anyway, EA’s kissing those wounds better with a free game voucher for people suffering post-traumatic stress disorders.<\/p>\n

PC gamers, anyway – consoletards like me are apparently not good enough or too cool. I’m going with “too cool”.<\/p>\n

In an e-mail to users, EA said:<\/p>\n

Last week, we understand you had an experience with the Origin service that may have left you disappointed.<\/em><\/p>\n

We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and would like to offer you something to make amends.<\/em><\/p>\n

Here’s your code to redeem a free game off the Origin store.<\/em><\/p>\n

The voucher’s good for anything except preorders, and must be redeemed before 31 December.<\/em><\/p>\n
