Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows Part 2 was a bad game<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, the studio responsible for the mess that garnered the scorn of yours-truly (and anyone with any sense) is facing the chopping block, as EA and Bright Light have entered into a “formal consultation process”, reports gamesindustry.biz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Proving, once again, that there is a gaming god.<\/p>\n

“After a review of all current and future projects, Electronic Arts has started a formal consultation process with its Bright Light employees over the proposed closure of the studio,” said EA’s Tiffany Steckler.<\/p>\n

She went on to explain that the proposed “changes” will “help centralize development on future projects, reduce development costs and will allow for better knowledge and talent sharing within the organization.”<\/p>\n

Because it takes real talent to bore gamers to death and screw up a franchise – and now that knowledge can be shared everywhere.<\/p>\n

It’s a bit depressing that people will be losing jobs during these tough economic times but EA insist that employees will be relocated and considered for positions at other EA Studios.<\/p>\n

Let’s hope they aren’t given the task of cranking out blatant movie franchise cash-in titles and get the chance to develop a game we can all enjoy.<\/p>\n
