*Sniffs the air* What’s that smell?<\/p>\n

Oh yes, the smell of holiday release bombardment heading our way.<\/p>\n

Last week was pretty big with Batman: Arkham City taking up most of the gaming world’s attention.<\/p>\n

But this week we have another set of titles to look forward to – with even more gaming goodness coming at us at an alarming rate in the weeks to come.<\/p>\n

Battlefield 3 (PC\/PS3\/360)
<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the biggie for the week.<\/p>\n

EA and DICE have been feeding the hype machine over the last few months in a big way, all for Battlefield 3 – the next numbered iteration of the shooter we last saw six years ago.<\/p>\n

Yup, Battlefield 2 came out in 2005.<\/p>\n

We’ve been covering the game rather extensively, from announcement to beta – as well as all the changes made since.<\/p>\n

And now we finally get to enjoy the final product this Friday.<\/p>\n

We’ve already pre-ordered ours, and Friday cannot come sooner!<\/p>\n

Tropico 4 (360)
<\/strong><\/p>\n

PC gamers have had the pleasure of playing dictator since August 2011 – and now 360 owners are going to have their chance too.<\/p>\n

Playing as the tyrannical (or benevolent) dictator El Presidente, Tropico 4 is a construction and management sim that let’s you work towards doing what dictators do best – expanding your influence and territory.<\/p>\n

In light of recent activities here in the real world, perhaps you should reassess how you go about things, hmm?<\/p>\n

Grab Tropico 4 on 360 on Friday.<\/p>\n

SingStar Back top the 80’s (PS3 + Move)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 80’s was very contrasting – giving us some of the best music ever (Queen, anyone?) and some of the worst (uh, everything else).<\/p>\n

But it’s the everything else that made the 80’s so awesome, even if only to laugh about.<\/p>\n

And let’s face it – when it comes to karaoke, George Michael’s Faith always comes up.<\/p>\n

Right?<\/p>\n

Playstation 3 is heading back to the 80’s with SingStar on Thursday, and the game will have over 30 tracks from the musical era taste forgot.<\/p>\n
