{"id":14988,"date":"2011-10-24T11:15:00","date_gmt":"2011-10-24T09:15:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"dead-island-console-update-coming-asap-says-deep-silver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/14988-dead-island-console-update-coming-asap-says-deep-silver","title":{"rendered":"Dead Island console update coming ASAP says Deep Silver"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, Techland dropped a massive <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/pc\/14926-Dead-Island-patch-deployed.html\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Dead Island PC patch 1.3 deployed\">update for the PC version<\/a> of zombie holocaust-&lsquo;em-up Dead Island, and this week, console gamers are waiting anxiously for their turn.<\/p>\n<p>So when is it coming? &ldquo;As soon as we can&rdquo;, a rep from publisher Deep Silver has told <a href=\" http:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2011\/10\/24\/deep-silver-promises-dead-island-console-patch-as-soon-as-we-can\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"VG247\">VG247<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re going to work on getting the update out as soon as we can &ndash; hurrying it along too fast will just give us a bad patch,&rdquo; information officer Aubrey Norris said.<\/p>\n<p>She also noted on Twitter that &ldquo;People put so much pressure on devs to announce specific release dates and then when something happens to change that they just rage again,&rdquo; then added &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve seen tons of instances of fan rage when devs [announce delays]. &lsquo;Oh it needs more time?
