It’s been a whole year since Super Meat Boy kersplodged onto the Xbox LIVE Arcade, and Team Meat is throwing a monster birthday party for their little quarter-pounder what grew up so fast.<\/p>\n

“This party will be taking place all of next month and everyone’s invited! We will be holding contests, releasing updates, having sales, [unveiling] secrets, giving away free copies, uploading tons of videos and probably a ton of other random shit that we come up with as the month goes by.<\/p>\n

“But the point is November is Super Meat Month and we want it to be special,” writes Team Meat’s Edmund McMillen over on the official blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But wait, there’s more!<\/p>\n

The game will also be going on sale at some as yet undetermined point during the month, alongside a free update “that will add tons of new levels to ‘Teh Internets’”.<\/p>\n

Mmmm, beefy.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, there’s also a Halloween dress-up contest.<\/p>\n

“Send us a pic of you dressed up as something Meat Boy-related for Halloween (it’s best to do this via Twitter),” adds McMillen. “<\/p>\n

A few days after Halloween we will choose a few top costumes and send the winners free copies of ALL 3 SMB COMICS!”<\/p>\n
