South Africa was part of the third wave of the release of the iPhone 4 and considering that Apple said it would launch in 70 countries before year-end, it isn’t much of stretch to believe that our operators will bring the iPhone 4S in before the end of December.<\/p>\n
If you simply can’t wait that long then there are a number of importers already offering the iPhone 4S. The table below compares the prices of three such retailers.<\/p>\n

In the UK it is available cash-only, and a 32GB iPhone 4S will cost you £599 (around R7415) while a 64GB model goes for £699 (around R8655).<\/p>\n
The Notebook Company’s MD, Christopher Riley, said that they were only able to get a few iPhone 4S units as they are very scarce.<\/p>\n
He added that the price should come down to below R9,500 in the next 2 months, however.<\/p>\n
