Well that’s what Rockstar says, according to what they told digitaltrends when they got a little sneaky peek<\/a> at the 10 year anniversary edition of GTA 3 on mobile platforms.<\/p>\n

The report states that even though it would be a “technical challenge” to bring Vice City and San Andreas to mobile devices, Rockstar says it’s “very possible”.<\/p>\n

Considering Vice City was bigger than GTA 3, and San Andreas was bigger than both of those combined…methinks “technical challenge” is perhaps an understatement.<\/p>\n

GTA 3 is heading over to iOS and select Android devices in celebration of the 10 year anniversary; according to the report, the release will be the full game, with a few graphical updates and gameplay tweaks – but don’t expect anything drastic.<\/p>\n

Apparently it’ll have sharper textures and a higher polygon count than the original PS2 version, and interestingly, with a device that has USB compatibility, it looks like you’ll be able to use a USB controller to play it.<\/p>\n

And the radio stations are still there.<\/p>\n

Oh Lazlow, how we ache to hear you sweetly caressing our ears with your voice once again.<\/p>\n

If you’re a lucky iPad or compatible Android device<\/a> owner – expect GTA 3 before the year is over.<\/p>\n
