Machinarium – ring a bell?<\/p>\n
Released on PC back in 2009, this beautifully-crafted point-and-click adventure stole the hearts of billions of people all over the world.<\/p>\n
Or rather, it would have, had it been released on every platform ever.<\/p>\n
Luckily, developer, Amanita Design, has spent the past couple of years doing exactly that – working hard to port this stunning game onto a multitude of platforms (including MAC, Steam, Android and Apple’s iOS).<\/p>\n
And now it’s also coming to PS3 via PSN in February 2012.<\/p>\n
Better yet, according to Amanita founder, Jakub Dvorský, “[The] PlayStation version will be the ultimate version of Machinarium.”<\/p>\n
With the addition of trophies and zooming – so you can get a nice detailed look at the beautiful environments – Dvorský describes the PS3 version as more “fluent”.<\/p>\n
We’re assuming that means wonderful and super and stuff.<\/p>\n
When people ask me to describe Machinarium and what it’s about and why they should care – I’m usually at a loss for words; so I just show them a picture and say “JUST LOOK AT IT.”<\/p>\n
