Remedy Games<\/a> has put an end to months of rumour and speculation by, finally, officially admitting they’ve got a new Alan Wake game in development for the Xbox LIVE<\/a> Arcade.<\/p>\n

What a relief, all that open secrecy was killing me.<\/p>\n

“Fans, Alan Wake returns through Xbox Live Arcade,” reads a notice on the Alan Wake Facebook page. “Follow GameInformer.com on Monday for the first screenshot, and the 2011 Spike VGA<\/a>‘s, December 10th, for more information on this Epic Adventure. Are you ready to become the Champion of Light?”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, XBLA Fans – who first broke news of the game back in May already – has leaked a screenshot of the its main menu, which shows the title as “Alan Wake’s Night Springs” and lists “Arcade Action” as an extra option.<\/p>\n

Most intriguing.<\/p>\n

In the original Alan Wake, Night Springs is the name of a Twilight Zone-style show that appears on TVs throughout the game.<\/p>\n
