Square Enix<\/a> are boosting their Playstation Network<\/a> PSone Classics range even more by digging deep and adding a few fan-favourites to the service.<\/p>\n

‘Tis the Winter of RPGs for Squeenix, reports 1up, with Final Fantasy V hitting the US Playstation Store<\/a> on November 22, and Final Fantasy VI coming through December 6.<\/p>\n

Weirdly enough, both of these titles have been available for a few months in PAL territories.<\/p>\n

Final Fantasy VI is considered by everyone who actually played Final Fantasy, before it hit big with FF7, as the best in the entire series; while Final Fantasy V…well, anyway, moving swiftly along.<\/p>\n

Chrono Cross will be coming a sooner than both of those titles, landing tomorrow on November 8.<\/p>\n

Chrono Cross is the sequel to bestest jRPG ever*, Chrono Trigger, and saw a very limited release in western parts – even more so here in South Africa, where we didn’t know Japanese RPGs existed until, like, last week or something.<\/p>\n

All of these dates apply to the US PSN – with Euro dates still up in the air – but if many of you follow the same trend as with Apple iStores, then I’m sure, off the record, you’ll find this information noteworthy.<\/p>\n

Nudge nudge, wink wink.<\/p>\n

After the Fear Effect additions being announced, it looks like Sony is padding their PSone<\/a> portfolio rather nicely.<\/p>\n
