Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out now, everywhere, and – perhaps predictably – the Call of Duty Elite online service is broken now, everywhere.<\/p>\n
The problem? THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY OF YOU!<\/p>\n
“We are aware of the issue,” reads a post over on the official Call of Duty Elite Twitter<\/a> page. “Surge of new Elite registrations is creating reg & login issues. Teams are working now to increase capacity.”<\/p>\n Password errors are apparently related to this problem, so don’t worry about changing them.<\/p>\n The same Twitter stream also links to this page<\/a> to “to stay updated on Elite’s launch status”, which hilariously returned a 404 error when I tried to load it.<\/p>\n “It’s difficult to launch not only a giant game like MW3 but a huge, scratch-built service like Elite simultaneously – and try to do it worldwide,” Activision<\/a> community guy Dan Amrich writes over on the One of Swords blog.<\/p>\n “So, give ’em time, and don’t panic in the interim.”<\/p>\n Sources: <\/span><\/p>\n CoD Elite on Twitter
