{"id":15441,"date":"2011-11-09T12:42:00","date_gmt":"2011-11-09T10:42:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"new-call-of-duty-game-coming-in-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/15441-new-call-of-duty-game-coming-in-2012","title":{"rendered":"New Call of Duty game coming in 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In probably the most unsurprising announcement of 2011 &ndash; gamers can look forward to a new Call of Duty game in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, ladies and gentlemen, your hopes and dreams have all come true as <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/11841-Activision-Blizzard\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Company Information\">Activision Blizzard<\/a> have announced tha-ZzzzZzzzZzzz<\/p>\n<p>Whoops, sorry, dozed off there for a second.<\/p>\n<p>As has been the trend for some time now, it&rsquo;s safe to say that Black Ops devs, <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/20477-Treyarch\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Company Information\">Treyarch<\/a>, will likely be handling next year&rsquo;s shooty-shooty game, much like they have every alternating year since 2006.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement came from Activision CEO, Bobby Kotick, at an investor&rsquo;s conference &ndash; reports 1up &ndash; along with the equally unsurprising announcement that Blizzard will be releasing two new games next year as well.<\/p>\n<p>Diablo III is one of them, and Heart of the Swarm is likely the other &ndash; so nothing we didn&rsquo;t already know then.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s unlikely Activision are going to stop milking the cash-cow that is Call of Duty any time soon, so I&rsquo;m just going to go ahead and announce Call of Duty games for 2013, through to 2025.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.1up.com\/news\/yep-another-call-of-duty-next-year\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"1UP Reports\">1up<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/Call_of_Duty_Black_Ops_840799413.jpg\" border=\"0\" width=\"340\" height=\"214\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/20437-Call-of-Duty-in-2012-is-coming.-Duh.\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Forum Link\"><strong>Call of Duty in 2012 is coming.
