Take-Two Interactive<\/a>’s latest financial reports include a handy little section on future project release dates, which usually gives us a good idea of when to expect what from the publisher.<\/p>\n

It was here that we got a look into XCOM’s delay from March 2012 into the company’s 2013 fiscal year (which runs until March 2013) – but not listed at all, is Grand Theft Auto 5.<\/p>\n

Most industry analysts were pegging Rockstar’s next big thing to a release sometime in 2012, but Take-Two remain firm that the release date is “TBA”.<\/p>\n

The thing with “To Be Announced” is that the “announced” bit could very well be tomorrow, if the company saw fit.<\/p>\n

Perhaps they’re playing coy and trying to feed speculation and hype – but as far as financial reports go, they’re arguably not the best platform for marketing strategies – so perhaps we might not be seeing GTA V as soon as we think.<\/p>\n
