In the best news ever, GOG.com<\/a> has added Crusader: No Regret to its catalogue.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s like I died and went to wherever it is all my dreams come true, which means I now also have the complete X-Files Blu-ray<\/a> collection and an infinite supply of cream soda here somewhere. Oh, happy day!<\/p>\n

Experts agree that it’s pretty much the best game ever, having won multiple \u201cAction Game of the Year\u201d awards in 1996. Originally released for PC<\/a> (MS-DOS) back in August 1995, it went on to blow its way through to the Sega Saturn, PlayStation<\/a>, and everybody’s nostalgia banks. No Regret is the sequel to Crusader: No Remorse, which was added to the GOG.com catalogue back in June.<\/p>\n

The Crusader series was developed by Origin Systems, a developer co-founded by Richard Garriott in 1983, which went on the produce some of the most iconic franchises in gaming, including Ultima, Wing Commander, and System Shock.<\/p>\n

In 1992, EA<\/a> acquired Origin<\/a> and so began the slow chewing up of the company until it was finally swallowed in 2004, and the brand name vomited up again in 2011 as a digital distribution platform.<\/p>\n

Crusader: No Regret is an isometric third-person shooter, somewhat similar to Diablo, that has a renegade Robocop-type supersoldier making his way through a series of sci-fi evil-mega-corporation locations and shotgunning all the secretaries to a techno\/rock soundtrack.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s so 1990s, it should totally come with an \u201cI\u2019M TOO SEXY FOR THIS VIDEO GAME\u201d T-shirt.<\/p>\n

Like all GOG.com titles, Crusader: No Regret is 100% DRM<\/a>-free, and compatible with Windows XP \/ Vista \/ 7.<\/p>\n
