{"id":27737,"date":"2011-11-29T13:36:03","date_gmt":"2011-11-29T11:36:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=27737"},"modified":"2011-11-29T17:34:53","modified_gmt":"2011-11-29T15:34:53","slug":"skyrim-update-1-2-out-on-ps3-coming-to-pc-and-xbox-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/27737-skyrim-update-1-2-out-on-ps3-coming-to-pc-and-xbox-tomorrow","title":{"rendered":"Skyrim update 1.2 out on PS3, coming to PC and Xbox tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim just got a whole lot better!<\/p>\n<p>No, I don&#8217;t mean unicorns (not yet, anyway), but <a title=\"Company Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/11877-Bethesda-Game-Studios\">Bethesda<\/a> has dropped a big update for the game over on the<a title=\"Term Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19910-Playstation-Network-%28PSN%29\"> PlayStation Network<\/a>, with the <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19882-Xbox-360\">Xbox<\/a> and <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/21037-PC-Gaming\">PC<\/a> updates queued up for 30 November.<\/p>\n<p>I guess they&#8217;re working their way up to unicorns.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, though, here&#8217;s what&#8217;s been fixed up:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved occasional performance issues resulting from long term play (<a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19888-Playstation-3-%28PS3%29\">PlayStation 3<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Fixed issue where textures would not properly upgrade when installed to drive (Xbox 360)<\/li>\n<li>Fixed crash on startup when audio is set to sample rate other than 44100Hz (PC)<\/li>\n<li>Fixed issue where projectiles did not properly fade away<\/li>\n<li>Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player\u2019s wedding dead<\/li>\n<li>Dragon corpses now clean up properly<\/li>\n<li>Fixed rare issue where dragons would not attack<\/li>\n<li>Fixed rare NPC sleeping animation bug<\/li>\n<li>Fixed rare issue with dead corpses being cleared up prematurely<\/li>\n<li>Skeleton Key will now work properly if player has no lockpicks in their inventory<\/li>\n<li>Fixed rare issue with renaming enchanted weapons and armor<\/li>\n<li>Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death<\/li>\n<li>ESC button can now be used to exit menus (PC)<\/li>\n<li>Fixed occasional mouse sensitivity issues (PC)<\/li>\n<li>General functionality fixes related to remapping buttons and controls (PC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_25563\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Skyrim_screenshots_6_Horse01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25563\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25563\" title=\"Skyrim screenshot -
