With all the hype and buzz surrounding the recent launch and release of Assassin\u2019s Creed Revelations \u2013 this one almost slipped right under our radar. Almost.<\/p>\n

You\u2019d be forgiven for thinking this was a bundle of all the previous Assassin\u2019s Creed games, but it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

Assassin\u2019s Creed Recollections is an iPad<\/a> game based on the franchise that promises an 8 \u2013 10 hour campaign, taking you from Barcelona to Constantinople. Here\u2019s the catch though: it\u2019s a card game. Sort of. Mostly. I think…<\/p>\n

It has cards.<\/p><\/div>\n

Ubisoft <\/a>describe the game as a \u201creal-time board game\u201d that allows you to conduct political battles – featuring characters and locations from Assassin\u2019s Creed II and Brotherhood. You can also collect artwork from the games to, uh, view, I suppose?<\/p>\n

To simplify the game to an understandable level – it\u2019s a real-time strategy game where you essentially use your cards to gain different territories. Every card has different values and effects which are more or less effective against your opponent\u2019s moves.<\/p>\n

From what we\u2019ve read up about it, it\u2019s a pretty complex game that will take a bit to get into \u2013 but will be rewarding once things start piecing together.<\/p>\n
