{"id":29105,"date":"2011-12-07T09:56:33","date_gmt":"2011-12-07T07:56:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=29105"},"modified":"2011-12-07T09:59:06","modified_gmt":"2011-12-07T07:59:06","slug":"delayed-xbox-dashboard-update-causing-live-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/29105-delayed-xbox-dashboard-update-causing-live-issues","title":{"rendered":"Delayed Xbox dashboard update causing LIVE issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a bit of a delay yesterday, the <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19882-Xbox-360\">Xbox<\/a> dashboard update started rolling out to users around the world a couple of hours ago, <em>aaaaaaand<\/em> is now breaking <a title=\"Term Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19908-Xbox-LIVE-%28XBL%29\">Xbox LIVE<\/a> in the process.<\/p>\n<p>The official Xbox LIVE status page is flashing a bunch of connectivity alerts, warning that users &#8220;may experience difficulty&#8221; with any of the following services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Signing into Xbox LIVE from an Xbox console<\/li>\n<li>Signing into Games for Windows \u2013 LIVE on a <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/21037-PC-Gaming\">PC<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Signing into Xbox LIVE from Xbox.com<\/li>\n<li>Signing into the Xbox LIVE forums<\/li>\n<li>Everything else, probably<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Xbox LIVE commander <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/majornelson\/status\/144265300383248384\">Major Nelson<\/a> has reassured Xbox users that &#8220;the team is working on it&#8221;, but until fifty million people stop attempting to download the update at the same time, it&#8217;s likely that connectivity problems will persist.<\/p>\n<p>Just keep trying, that&#8217;s what everybody else is doing.
