{"id":29196,"date":"2011-12-08T12:43:21","date_gmt":"2011-12-08T10:43:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=29196"},"modified":"2011-12-09T14:07:51","modified_gmt":"2011-12-09T12:07:51","slug":"free-xbox-live-weekend-this-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/29196-free-xbox-live-weekend-this-weekend","title":{"rendered":"Free Xbox LIVE weekend (9 &#8211; 12 December)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Company Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/11861-Microsoft\">Microsoft<\/a> has announced that it&#8217;s flipping the switches over at<a title=\"Term Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19908-Xbox-LIVE-%28XBL%29\"> Xbox LIVE<\/a> HQ to ALL ACCESS GO GO GO this weekend, presumably as a promo to go with this week&#8217;s Xbox dashboard update and shiny new (and mostly quite pointless) <a title=\"Term Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/20018-iOS\">iOS<\/a> app launch.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, any reason is a good reason, even if it&#8217;s just cloud saves and more ads.<\/p>\n<p>The free-for-all is available from <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Friday 9 December 11am to Monday 12 December 8am<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During this time, unpaid subscribers will be able to make use of a limited number of Xbox LIVE Gold features, including all online multiplayer, the Video <a title=\"Term Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19894-Kinect\">Kinect<\/a> service, and the <a title=\"Company Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/20155-Facebook\">Facebook<\/a> channel.<\/p>\n<p>They won&#8217;t, however, be able to use <a title=\"Company Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19976-Twitter\">Twitter<\/a>, or take advantage of Gold-exclusive early access to <a title=\"Term Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/20301-DLC-Downloadable-Content\">DLC<\/a> or the Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week (obviously).<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; Wait, do people actually use Facebook and Twitter on <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19882-Xbox-360\">Xbox<\/a>?
