Just Add Water has confirmed that its Extreme Makeover: Game Edition<\/em> of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath will be rootin’, tootin’, and six-gun shootin’ its way on over to the PlayStation Network on Wednesday, 21 December.<\/p>\n

“I wanted to first thank you all for your patience, it\u2019s been a long wait I guess, but at the same time it\u2019s been even longer for us,” writes developer Just Add Water CEO Steward Gilray over on the PlayStation Blog.<\/p>\n

“As most of you may know we originally planned to release the game around Easter, to be able to do that we were to have started full development in September last year, but as it transpired, we didn\u2019t actually start until April 2011, which gave us our hoped late Summer release; but we ended up spending another couple of months on it, so here we are DONE AND DUSTED for release.”<\/p>\n

He also notes that although they’d intended to launch the game with 3D and Move support, “time limits” mean this won’t be happening.<\/p>\n

“However, we WILL be bringing them in an update in a couple months, along with some other little extras we\u2019ve got planned,” he concluded.<\/p>\n
