Proving that good things come to… good things, Supergiant<\/a>‘s critically acclaimed post-apocalypse romper Bastion has just passed the half million sales mark – officially making it not just a good thing, but a Big Thing\u2122 too.<\/p>\n

“When we set out to make Bastion, a sales number like that seemed astronomical to us, so it feels great to have hit that mark,” writes designer Greg Kasavin over on Supergiant’s blog. “It goes to show that a lot of folks out there like what we\u2019re doing and want us to keep going, which is great, because we intend to stick together as a team and do just that.”<\/p>\n

Bastion was originally launched on the Xbox LIVE<\/a> Arcade as part of the annual “Summer of Arcade” promo, and later released on Steam<\/a> and as a browser title for Google Chrome.<\/p>\n

The game has also bagged over 60 awards, including best-of accolades from TIME, CNN, Wired, and Entertainment Weekly, and holds a Metacritic rating of 86 and 87 for Xbox<\/a> and PC<\/a> respectively.<\/p>\n

Supergiant hasn’t yet announced what they’re going to be doing next, although the team has confirmed they’ll be sticking together for the time being.<\/p>\n
