{"id":30247,"date":"2012-01-06T13:12:23","date_gmt":"2012-01-06T11:12:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=30247"},"modified":"2012-01-07T10:02:01","modified_gmt":"2012-01-07T08:02:01","slug":"rumour-control-sony-to-unveil-new-console-at-e3-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/30247-rumour-control-sony-to-unveil-new-console-at-e3-2012","title":{"rendered":"Rumour Control: Sony to unveil new console at E3 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fresh report, attributed to one of trade website MCV\u2019s &#8220;exemplary&#8221; and &#8220;ultra high level&#8221; sources, claims that <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/11859-Sony-Computer-Entertainment\">Sony<\/a> will reveal a brand new home console at <a title=\"Term Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/21509-E3-Electronic-Entertainment-Expo\">E3<\/a> later this year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Obviously we can&#8217;t reveal our sources,&#8221; wrote MCV writer Ben Parfitt on Twitter. &#8220;But you have my personal word on this &#8211; the source is exemplary, 100 percent concrete, ultra high level.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Really, really wish I could name him\/her\/them\/it but obviously cannot.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sony has responded to the rumour with its regulation \u201cWe don\u2019t comment on rumour and speculation\u201d tagline.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Company Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/11861-Microsoft\">Microsoft<\/a> is also expected to unveil a new <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19882-Xbox-360\">Xbox<\/a> at E3 this year, so 2012 may well be the year that we see the eventual move towards the next generation of console gaming.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Company Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/11857-Nintendo\">Nintendo<\/a> already revealed the <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19914-Nintendo-Wii-U\">Wii U<\/a>, which will be its first foray into HD gaming.
