As mentioned last week, I have a huge backlog of games to get through – and with February and the onslaught of new games fast approaching, I’m almost guaranteed to break under the immense stress and pressure of having so many games to play. Thus, I will spend the weekend rocking back and forth in a dark corner, crying.<\/p>\n

I’m still aimlessly wandering the cruel desert that is the January gaming drought, but in the distance I think I see a faint shimmer of hope.<\/p>\n
Zack Zero is a rather fun-looking superhero platformer that’s just hit the PSN, so I might splash out on that while I continue to twiddle my thumbs for the release of Trine 2 on our antiquated version of the PSN store. I’m also keen for Scarygirl, a gorgeous platformer that’s already on XBLA and due to hit the PSN next week.<\/p>\n
Assuming none of these are actually mirages, I reckon downloadable titles might be the only way forward until the gaming gods decide to rain down the February AAA goodness.<\/p>\n
