Blizzard<\/a> Entertainment and the team developing Diablo III has lost its senior producer, Steve Parker. As is the way of new media, the announcement came via Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I’m no longer working at Blizzard or on D3. I’ve had a great 5 years there and those guys are going to kill it with Diablo,” twote Parker.<\/p>\n

Of course, speculation has been doing the rounds on community websites as to whether this was an amicable parting, or a result of the recent Diablo III overhaul announcement. The news of revision to some core gameplay dynamics lead to speculation that the game isn’t going to launch as soon as most would like.<\/p>\n

Diablo III is currently battling its way through the ninth circle of closed-public beta hell, and rumour and speculation has it hopefully pegged for a Q2 2012 release.<\/p>\n

In reality, Blizzard has said nothing official about the launch of the game, so we really have no idea when it’s coming out.<\/p>\n
