Today (24 January 2012) Ubisoft<\/a> announced that I Am Alive will be launching during the Xbox LIVE<\/a> Arcade House Party promotion on 7 March 2012, for 1200 Microsoft Points.<\/p>\n

There’s still no exact date for the PSN<\/a> release, but considering the Q1 2012 window, it will likely also drop sometime in March.<\/p>\n

I Am Alive puts players in the role of a man seeking his wife and daughter, who were lost during the “Event” – an apocalyptic tragedy that forever changed the landscape. A year into his journey, he finds Haventon, his hometown, in shambles. Buildings are destroyed, toxic ash fills the streets and society has been torn, causing inhabitants to take all necessary actions to survive.<\/p>\n

In I Am Alive, players will be challenged by both the environment and the enemies. Stamina and resource management are key when being exposed to deadly atmospheres and scaling enormous buildings in search of supplies. The combat system requires players to utilize intimidation – cowards are easily swayed with an empty gun, while other enemies will put players to the test.<\/p>\n
