League of Legends, or as it is affectionately known – LOL (lol) – is one of the world\u2019s most popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games, and NAG Magazine is hosting a competitive local league for it this year.<\/p>\n

So far 25 clans have registered to play in the league, and head admin Drans \u201cA10 Greep3r\u201d Scheepers expected at least another 5 clans to register before the closing date, which is tomorrow, 27 January 2012.<\/p>\n

Each team must consist of at least 5 players, and may have up to 4 substitute players.<\/p>\n

A seeding tournament will kick off on 3 February and will run through until 24 February, after which teams will be placed in either the Premier, First or Second Divisions.<\/p>\n

The online league will then kick off on 9 March. The first leg will end on 31 May, and leg 2 will run from 15 June until 31 August.<\/p>\n

Following the league, NAG will host the Grand Final Invitational tournament at rAge, which will take place between 28-30 September this year.<\/p>\n

Players may still register for the tournament on the official League of Legends South Africa page.<\/a><\/p>\n
