{"id":31812,"date":"2012-02-01T14:39:18","date_gmt":"2012-02-01T12:39:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=31812"},"modified":"2012-02-01T14:47:57","modified_gmt":"2012-02-01T12:47:57","slug":"twisted-metal-x-mp-beta-goes-live-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/31812-twisted-metal-x-mp-beta-goes-live-today","title":{"rendered":"Twisted Metal MP beta goes live today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19888-Playstation-3-(PS3)\">PS3<\/a> exclusive carnage racer, Twisted Metal X is going into multiplayer beta today over on the <a title=\"System Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19910-Playstation-Network-(PSN)\">PlayStation Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fans of the series know what it&#8217;s all about, but if you don&#8217;t, Twisted Metal X has you getting into your vehicle and equipping weapons to maul your opponents in a choatic demolition derby of doom.<\/p>\n<p>Twisted Metal X will feature 16-player online multiplayer, as well as split-screen; though the beta is for online only.<\/p>\n<p>In the beta you&#8217;ll have access to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 vehicles to choose from, each with their own unique special weapons.<\/li>\n<li>2 multiplayer modes: Classic free-for-all Death Match, and team-based Nuke mode \u2014 a Twisted take on Capture the Flag that\u2019s brand new to the series.<\/li>\n<li>Challenge mode, where you can practice with each vehicle to hone your destructive skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The servers will be up today and you&#8217;ll have until February 7th to give it a bash.
