BioWare<\/a> has announced that the incoming Mass Effect 3 demo will include freebie Xbox LIVE<\/a> Gold access for those who don’t already have it. No one left behind<\/em>, unless you’re Mordin, maybe. That guy was just unlucky.<\/p>\n

From the notice over on BioWare’s forums, it looks like the Gold access will be limited to the Mass Effect 3 demo only, though.<\/p>\n

“In celebration of ME3, Xbox<\/a> is pleased to provide fans access to ME3 demo multiplayer for the time leading to launch,” is the official word from Microsoft<\/a> HQ.<\/p>\n

The demo features both single- and multiplayer parts, including two of the game’s levels (“approximately 1-2 hours of content”, according to BioWare) and two multiplayer maps. It’s out on Xbox LIVE on 17 February, although people who bought Battlefield 3 and unlocked their Online Pass can get in early on 14 February.<\/p>\n
