A Taiwan man has died after playing a computer game at an internet cafe for 23 straight hours, local media reported Friday.<\/p>\n
Police found the body of 23-year-old Chen Rong-yu slumped in a chair at the cafe in the Taipei area on Wednesday, with his hands stretched out towards the keyboard and mouse, according to the news website Apple Daily.<\/p>\n
Cafe employees said Chen walked in late Tuesday and sat down at a corner computer terminal. He took frequent nap breaks, so staff were not alarmed to see him apparently resting.<\/p>\n
The following night, a female employee tried to wake him, but found his body was cold and called police.<\/p>\n
Chen\u2019s family told authorities that he received treatment for a heart condition in September. Police said they were still investigating the cause of death, but suspected that a combination of fatigue, lack of movement and the cold weather could have caused blood clots and a heart attack.<\/p>\n
