This weekend marks my first in three weeks within reach of a gaming-capable computer (dodgy, South East Asian internet cafes don’t pack particularly high-end hardware) so I’m somewhat overwhelmed. There’ll definitely be some online FPS bloodshed to get back in the swing of things; perhaps mellowing a bit with Trine 2. Luckily, January has been a somewhat slow month for games so I haven’t missed too<\/em> much. In between the gaming merriment I also have to get started on packing up my life, as in less than a month I’ll be headed home to SA. Can’t wait.<\/p>\n

Finally, new playthings! This weekend I’m hitting the PSN with a vengeance with sci-fi platformer Zack Zero and cute-but-creepy platformer Scarygirl, and I’ll be finishing up with some portable platformer goodness with Paper Monsters on iOS.<\/p>\n

Yeah, I think I’m going through a recapture-my-youth-through-platformers quarter-life crisis.<\/p>\n
