In a forum post on the official Darksiders II community site, THQ has announced that Darksiders II is scheduled for release on 26 June, 2012.<\/p>\n

The publisher also revealed a host of pre-order incentives, although those only apply to gamers in the UK, Australia, Europe, the US and Canada.<\/p>\n

Those who pre-order the game through selected retailers will get exclusive in game content, including the Death Ride pack, which features \u201cmultiple exclusive side-quests allowing players to explore more of the Maker\u2019s Realm and Dead Plains. In addition players will be able to aid an ancient Construct, battle The Bloodless and retrieve Karn\u2019s lost treasure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then there is the Angel of Death pack, which includes \u201cenhanced armor with an angel inspired design as well as a pair of matching scythes.\u201d Finally, those who pre-order through Amazon will get the Deadly Despair pack, which features \u201can additional speed boost for Death\u2019s horse Despair, that allows players to traverse the world at a much faster rate.\u201d<\/p>\n
