{"id":33043,"date":"2012-02-27T17:14:35","date_gmt":"2012-02-27T15:14:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=33043"},"modified":"2012-02-27T17:24:19","modified_gmt":"2012-02-27T15:24:19","slug":"indie-royale-alpha-collection-pilots-new-concept","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/33043-indie-royale-alpha-collection-pilots-new-concept","title":{"rendered":"Indie Royale Alpha Collection pilots new concept"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Indie Royale, the pay-what-you-want novelty that has ridden in on the coattails of the Humble Indie Bundle&#8217;s success is turning out to be not as much of a novelty as some might think.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing with its fortnightly bundle releases, and after the recent Valentine&#8217;s Bundle, comes the Alpha Collection, consisting of three unreleased games:<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Towns<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A city-building and management sim with RPG elements drawing inspiration from Dungeon Keeper, Diablo, Dwarf Fortress and Majesty.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.indieroyale.com\/media\/iframe\/586911\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"599\" height=\"338\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>3079<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A futuristic, open-world action first-person RPG that is, \u201can alleged lovechild of MineCraft and Fallout.\u201d Expect blocks and lasers.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.indieroyale.com\/media\/iframe\/584603\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"600\" height=\"452\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Wyv and Keep<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A pixelated 2D co-op puzzle platformer considered to be reminiscent of a fiendish version of Blizzard&#8217;s classic The Lost Vikings.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.indieroyale.com\/media\/iframe\/586241\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"599\" height=\"338\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As with previous Indie Royale bundles, there is a minimum price that goes up or down depending on the generosity of others.<\/p>\n<p>All games are available on PC, Mac and Linux.
