The moment has arrived – one of the biggest launch weeks in gaming for 2012 is at our doorstep, and you can bet your pet monkey that millions of gamers have been holding on for this moment.<\/p>\n

Indeed – The Sims 3 Showtime is finally here; and it’s special edition features items and clothing inspired by none other than Ms. Katy Perry.<\/p>\n

Nothing else really matters this week, but we might as well highlight these two minor releases – they could do with some added klout, yeah?<\/p>\n

Mass Effect 3<\/h3>\n

The Reapers have come to Earth, and only you can stop them and save humanity from almost certain doom. You are Commander Shepard, and you’re the biggest badass in the universe.<\/p>\n

You’re so badass that you’ve spent the past 2 games building enough reason for the Reapers to take personal exception to you, and to wage a vendetta against your homeworld. Whoops. Best clear that mess up.<\/p>\n

With gameplay, graphics and a direction that is looking to be the best in the trilogy, we simply can’t wait for this game anymore, and Friday must come sooner. It’s time to take back Earth.<\/p>\n

Mass Effect 3 is available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this Friday, 9 March 2012.<\/p>\n
