Almost 25 years on, a Wasteland sequel is finally in the making – and you can help make it happen. Yes, YOU!<\/p>\n
Wasteland was one of the inspirations behind Black Isle’s development of the iconic Fallout and Fallout 2 games.<\/p>\n
Original Wasteland creator Brian Fargo has launched his Kickstarter funding campaign, and he wants your cash.<\/p>\n
The drive has already banked over half a million dollars towards its $900,000 goal, with 34 days to go on the calendar.<\/p>\n
Fargo is teaming up with Wasteland designers Alan Pavlich and Mark Stackpole, as well as Fallout music guy Mark Morgan, Fallout co-creator Jason Anderson, and Oblivion concept artist Andr\u00e9e Wallin for the project.<\/p>\n

“This is probably the last chance for a Wasteland sequel,” warns the Kickstarter blurb. “We have tried to pitch this game multiple times to game publishers, but they\u2019ve balked. They don\u2019t think there\u2019s any interest in a solid, old school type of game. This is our shot at proving them wrong.
