Less than two days after launching its Wasteland 2 Kickstarter campaign, inXile Entertainment has reached and surpassed its target of $900,000.<\/p>\n

It’s on, people, and in the time it took me to type this article, another $8,000 or so was added.<\/p>\n

Eight people backed the project up for $10,ooo (or more) for the grand prize-incentive of a private party with the developers; an in-game shrine; 50 copies of the game; and a place in heaven.<\/p>\n

One of those people was Razer CEO, Min-Liang Tan, who pledged the cash to absolve childhood guilt.<\/p>\n

“I’m sorry for playing on a pirated copy of Wasteland years ago, I hope this makes up for it,” he posted on Twitter. Aw, bless.<\/p>\n

“WOW!!! You guys are amazing!\u00a0 The fans are really stepping up here with donations and spreading the word,” reads the latest update from project lead Brian Fargo on the Kickstarter page.<\/p>\n

“I haven’t been more excited to make a game in over a decade. It is a dream to focus all my attention on making a wonderful experience without distraction from outside forces. We will not let you down!”<\/p>\n

Don’t let that stop you from donating if you haven’t already, though. There are still 33 days to go.<\/p>\n
