Anyone visiting the site today will be privy to music reminiscent of the theme from the original role-playing masterpiece and a counter, slowly ticking down.<\/p>\n
With seven hours until the bell tolls 21:00 SAST to what we all hope is a big announcement that will finally put speculation to rest, anticipation amongst fans is at an all-time high.<\/p>\n
Rumoured to be a remake of the original Baldur’s Gate, released in 1998, the remake is expected to be a modernisation by Oster Studios’ Overhaul Games, who, last year, released MDK2HD.<\/p>\n
However, which platforms the remake is intended to ship on remains speculation at best. But no matter, in just a few more hours we’ll know more.<\/p>\n
