That’s according to VG247, whose anonymous industry source has told the site that Crystal Dynamics<\/a> is working on a Soul Reaver reboot with a “new art direction”, which makes sense considering how much graphics technology has advanced since 2003.<\/p>\n That’s pretty much all there is to it for the moment, though. Make of it what you will.<\/p>\n The first two Soul Reaver games were part of the critically acclaimed Legacy of Kain series, starting with Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain back in 1996.<\/p>\n The first game was developed in cooperation between Crystal Dynamics and Silicon Knights<\/a>, but after a heap of legal drama, Crystal Dynamics acquired the rights to the brand on condition that Silicon Knights be credited as the original creator in future releases.<\/p>\n The studio is currently busy with the Tomb Raider reboot, due to launch later this year.<\/p>\n Tomb Raider not coming to Wii U, confirmed for Mac OS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nSource: VG247<\/a><\/h5>\n
