The Collector\u2019s Edition of Guild Wars 2 will costs a little more in Europe and the UK than in the US. Americans will pay $150 (R1152), while Europeans will pay \u20ac150 (R1537), which is almost R400 more.<\/p>\n

We tend to fall in line with European pricing models here in SA, so we can expect to pay around R1500-R1600.<\/p>\n

So why the higher price outside the US?<\/p>\n

Speaking to PC Gamer, NCSoft said “Currency fluctuations, distribution costs, taxes and market conditions in addition to the cost of goods are all contributing factors when setting pricing.”<\/p>\n

“These vary dramatically between NA and EU, and our pricing is competitive and adjusted accordingly.”<\/p>\n

The Collector\u2019s Edition will include a 25cm statue, 5 art prints, a frame, a 112-page “Making of Guild Wars 2” hardcover book and a Best of Guild Wars 2 soundtrack among other goodies.
