Bioshock creator Ken Levine has become a candidate for Time Magazine\u2019s list of 100 most influential people.<\/p>\n

The Irrational Games co-founder is short-listed, alongside the likes of Adele, Mark Zuckerberg, Lionel Messi and Barack Obama, to be included in the prestigious list run every year by the long-running magazine.<\/p>\n

Starting his career as a creative director on titles such as Thief and System Shock 2, Ken Levine went on to produce numerous high calibre titles, namely the Bioshock series, which received numerous game-of-the-year awards.<\/p>\n

Gameinformer hailed Levine as one of the \u201cStoryteller of the Decade\u201d with his mind-bending and psychological egoism and laissez-faire capitalism infused narratives within the Bioshock franchise.<\/p>\n

Seeing figures within the gaming industry being recognised by Time is testament to the influence that video games have on popular culture and the world.<\/p>\n

Fans have until April 6th to cast their vote on Time\u2019s official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
