But placing UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) missions in every FPS out there is not really a moment one gets excited about.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s nothing worse than shooting up some generic-looking fools, everything is really awesome and exciting, and then suddenly, you\u2019re thrown into a top-down black and white bombing missions with scrambled radio chatter.<\/p>\n<p>Well, maybe there is something worse\u2026<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_35168\" style=\"width: 528px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cod1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35168\" class=\" wp-image-35168 \" title=\"cod1\" src=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cod1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"518\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cod1.jpg 575w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cod1-300x162.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/cod1-250x135.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 518px) 100vw, 518px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-35168\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">yawn.<\/p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Unskippable cut-scenes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>There is a special circle in hell for people who develop games without the ability to skip cut-scenes and story moments. Don\u2019t get me wrong, I love deep engrossing character development and narrative moments that captivate you within the events of the game, but once I\u2019ve seen it, I don\u2019t need to see it again.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s worse is that some intro videos have to be watched from beginning-to-end in order to access the main menu \u2013 you might as well grab some popcorn and sit back every time you start up Borderlands.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_35171\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35171\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35171 \" style=\"border-style: initial; border-color: initial;\" title=\"mgs4otacon1\" src=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1-80x45.jpg 80w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1-100x56.jpg 100w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1-170x96.jpg 170w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1-297x167.jpg 297w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/mgs4otacon1-250x140.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-35171\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">When you see Otacon calling, just get some popcorn, he&#39;ll be a while.<\/p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Horrific acting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Video games have reached a pivotal point, as most triple-A titles have the budgets and production values often rivalling that of some Hollywood films, and in doing so, the level of acting and performances have increased drastically over the last couple years.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, some games haven\u2019t picked up on the emphasis of good storytelling and in-game performances, and that\u2019s fine given that some games place a focus on other element of the experience, but some titles just ruin the fun with painful attempts.<\/p>\n<p>50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is an example of this \u2013 decent action game, but ruined by cringe-worthy acting and dialogue from \u2018Fiddy\u2019 himself.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions between the rapper-turned-video-game-star and his pitiful sidekick, Lloyd Banks, make for one embarrassing premise of a story, as 50 and his cronies set out to find a diamond-embedded skull stolen by Middle-Eastern terrorists. If you\u2019re not going to at least come up with a somewhat appealing plot, don\u2019t bother.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_35169\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/lloyd444.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35169\" class=\" wp-image-35169  \" title=\"Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent\" src=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/lloyd444.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"374\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/lloyd444.jpg 600w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/lloyd444-300x233.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/lloyd444-250x194.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-35169\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Despite being rappers, Lloyd and Fiddy are not very good with words.<\/p><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Unbalanced difficulty spikes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Some developers feel that random spikes in difficulty result in a well-rounded experience \u2013 they are wrong. Gamers are known for embracing a challenge, and we all love to make our gaming play-throughs worthwhile, but throwing in a random punishingly difficult segment can tarnish an experience faster than Kurt Darren singing our national anthem.<\/p>\n<p>While the Ninja Gaiden series is known for its difficulty, Team Ninja got a little too excited with one of their bosses from Ninja Gaiden 2.
